Who We Are

Behind the Jewelry

Pearls have always been my favorite gemstone. It probably has to do with being a June baby, but there truly is something so elegant and timeless about pearls. They can either come in classic or modern styles and truly are able to complete any outfit. Pearls take many years to come to fruition and surpass great difficulties to reach their full potential. They can teach us that sometimes our strength and most beautiful moments are formed through perseverance and not the prettiest of circumstance, but it is through that that we become refined and reach our full purpose. Like the pearl, each of us are in the process of becoming who God made us to be and sometimes this process is messy, but through tenacity and courage, beauty will come at the end of it. Each pearl is one-of-a-kind, just like each individual, so they will truly be able to showcase your own uniqueness and who you are. Since the start of this dream started with watching a Hallmark movie (see here) where the main character started out gifting her handmade jewelry to those she loved, it is only fitting that with pearls being my main focus they are thought to be gifts of love.

While pearls are the main focus of my designs, I also offer a selection of crystal and plain metal jewelry for those times when you just want to change it up a bit or if pearls aren't your thing.

Behind the Name

I come from an incredibly close-knit family and, specifically, have been blessed by incredible women in my life who played instrumental roles in my life and have shared not only their genuine love, but their compassion, empathy, godly wisdom, and their love of jewelry with me throughout my life. The name of my business, Stella Nicole Jewelry, is in honor of my YiaYia (Greek for grandma) whose first name was Stella. She lived with me since I was 3 years old until she passed away when I was 21 and a senior in college. She was consistently there for everything I ever did throughout my life, always encouraging me. When I was 17, she got very ill from Alzheimer's during the college recruiting phase of my last year of high school so I made the decision to stay home in college so I could be with her. I was fortunate enough that I could still pursue my dream of college tennis while still being able to be there for my family. Family is one of the most important relationships we will have in this life, and I know that my family's presence will be with me throughout this journey, so I hope my pieces can inspire you to value family, whether they were given to you or you hand-picked them yourself.
